Use Guidewheel in shift start-up meetings to identify machines with issues, discuss what went wrong, and plan actions to win the upcoming shift.

  1. Go to the Uptime page and select “Shift View”

  2. Select the previous shift

  3. Call out a few that performed well and celebrate the operators and teams responsible for that strong performance. Ask if they have any learnings or best practices to share with the team.

  4. Click into machines that fell below target during previous shift and review issues that occured.

  5. Ask: Why didn’t I hit my goal? What can I do differently next shift to hit my goal?

  6. Make a plan for the upcoming day. Assign specific actions and owners and review them the following day to see which drove improvement.
