Overview
Email reports let you share key factory insights with your team on a set schedule. You can customize the report period, recipients, and which performance widgets are included. This article explains how to create an email report and provides details about each available widget.
Prerequisites
Access to Settings > Preferences > Email Reports
Permission to configure reports and select recipients
Start of day configured under Settings > Configurations > Overall Settings
Create a New Email Report
Go to Settings > Preferences > Email Reports.
Click the white plus button to create a new report.
In the report builder, use the left-hand panel to select widgets.
In the right-hand panel, configure your report period:
By Shift: Choose the specific shift to reference.
24-hour View: Select the start time (based on your start-of-day setting) and send time.
7-day View: Select the day of the week and send time.
Enter a report name.
Add recipients (select users who should receive the report).
Save the report.
Available Widgets
Uptime
Select one or more machines.
Displays uptime as a bar graph with color coding (green, red, yellow, purple).
Includes uptime percentage and timestamps.
Downtime
Option to view Idle + Offline combined or Offline split separately.
Shows two bar graphs: running time and downtime (tagged or unidentified).
Lists top downtime events with date, time, duration, and tag.
Issues
Filter by duration or frequency.
Sort by tags, devices, assignee, status, or type.
Displays a Pareto chart showing top issues and trends vs. previous day.
Trends
Choose by shift.
Select unit: percentages, hours, or minutes.
Option to include/exclude weekends.
Display as chart, table, or both.
Shows device-level results, averages, and targets.
OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
Displays OEE bar graph with components A (Availability), P (Performance), Q (Quality).
Includes overall OEE summary plus per-device breakdown.
Performance
Choose between production rate, cycle times, or both.
Summarize by total units or performance percentage.
Customize color coding thresholds for green, yellow, and red based on the difference between average performance and 100%.
Helps visualize whether devices are meeting expected production standards.
Energy Intensity
Select devices to include.
Shows a summarized bar graph of average energy intensity per unit of production over the selected period.
Energy
Select all devices or specific devices.
Displays a stacked bar graph of total energy consumption for the selected range.
Helps track overall energy supply and usage across machines.
Tips & Best Practices
Match report timing to team handoffs or daily meetings for maximum impact.
Use shifts view for frontline operators and 7-day view for leadership summaries.
Keep reports focused—limit to the most relevant widgets for the audience.
Adjust Performance thresholds to match realistic expectations for your operation.
Troubleshooting
Report shows wrong time window → Check the start of day setting under Settings > Configurations > Overall Settings.
Recipients not receiving emails → Confirm they are added as recipients and have valid email addresses.
Widgets missing expected data → Verify the selected machines, time range, and shift match your intended scope.
