How To Create and Use Device Groups

Group machines that work together to simplify reporting and performance tracking.

Use this when: You want to track the performance of multiple machines working as a unit.

Device Groups let you combine machines into logical lines or work centers—for example, an extruder and die cutter that operate together.

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Device Groups.

  2. Click + Add Group.

  3. Name the group (e.g., “Packaging Line A”).

  4. Select the machines to include.

  5. Save.

Common Use Cases:

  • Bundled equipment on one line

  • Related devices for filtering uptime or production

  • Grouping by area or department
