Use Diagnostics and Calculations to identify patterns in times when you hit peak kVA demand at the KPLC billing point. Then, narrow in on specific machines to see if there are any machines that regularly increase the overall peak kVA. Might any of these machines have their peak kVA lowered - without impacting operations - by different startup speed?

If so, you can use Guidewheel to test the impact of different startup speed conditions for those machines. Test out different startup speeds on different days, use Diagnostics and Calculations to choose the startup speed that minimizes peak.

Once you have determined the optimal startup speed, you can create SOP or otherwise operationalize that speed for startup.

You can always use Guidewheel Diagnostics to make sure the correct procedures are being used, and Alerts to get an SMS if peak is high, indicating procedure is not being followed.
