How to Create Tags

Set Up Downtime and Scrap tags help you identify causes of downtime and target areas for improvement.

Steps to Add a Tag

  1. Go to Settings > Configurations > Tags.

  2. Click the + icon.


  3. Enter the name of the Tag.

    1. We recommend using prefixes to help sort and categorize your tags. For example, all preventative maintenance tags could start with PM

  4. Set Tag Type

    1. Issues = Downtime alert tracking (most common)

    2. Production = Scrap and waste event tracking

    3. ML = Anomaly tracking (Only used by Guidewheel team)

  5. Choose Planned, Unplanned, or Neither.

    1. We recommend either Planned or Unplanned for all Issues tags

  6. (Optional) Assign a color.

Assign the tag to a Device List or specific Device to control visibility across departments. These can be set in Device List or Device settings, respectively.
