We're excited to announce our new OEE Monitor, bringing your plant’s performance into one clear, real-time view!

Now, instead of switching between reports or waiting for end-of-shift summaries, your team can track live OEE, Availability, Performance, and Quality for every machine, all in one place. Color coding and hourly breakdowns make trends and problem areas easy to spot, and one-click drilldowns reveal the root causes so you can act fast.

With the OEE Monitor, you can:

  • Instantly see whether OEE targets are being met during a shift

  • Identify which machines are on target, at risk, or off target

  • Quickly identify and fix downtime, speed losses, or scrap issues

  • Keep teams aligned and accountable to performance goals

To use the OEE Monitor, Production must be set up and machines must be part of a plant with a configured shift schedule. Your Guidewheel CSM can help with setup if needed.

For more detail on how the OEE Monitor works and how values are calculated, view the full product guide →

How it works

Each machine tile displays OEE and its three components: Availability, Performance, and Quality. The metric furthest from target is automatically highlighted, and shifts are broken into color-coded hourly blocks to help you track trends as they happen.

Ex: Each tile shows which metric is furthest from target with highlight text and hovering over a specific hour gives OEE and its subcomponents for that hour.

Clicking into a machine opens detailed data on the current or most recent production run, including:

  • Downtime reasons

  • Speed vs. target

  • Scrap quantities and causes

Ex: Top causes of downtime are shown for the selected period so you can quickly see what’s hurting Availability the most.

Ex.: The hours when performance was furthest from target are shown, so you can focus troubleshooting where it will have the biggest impact.

Getting set up

To use the OEE Monitor, you’ll need:

  • Production to be set up in Guidewheel

  • A plant with a shift schedule configured

Once that’s in place:

  1. Go to the Monitor tab in your Guidewheel dashboard

  2. Filter machines by On Target, At Risk, or Off Target

  3. Click into any machine for detailed production and issue-level data
