Proper maintenance of equipment is essential to keep your operation running smoothly. It helps prevent failures before they occur, avoid machine downtime that results in costly repairs, and extend the lifespan of equipment. Guidewheel allows you to stay ahead of maintenance needs with a runtime-based maintenance schedule. It also detects anomalies in machine performance so you can perform maintenance before a machine goes down. Finally, by tracking mechanical issues over time, Guidewheel helps you refine your maintenance schedule to stay ahead of issues.
Key Guidewheel features:
Guidewheel Pareto Analysis with Mechanical Issues Details
How to use them:
Detect maintenance needs before machines go down
Set up Alerts to notify the Maintenance team when power draw on a machine passes a defined threshold, indicating there’s a potential issue that requires maintenance. This allows them to act quickly to perform repairs to prevent the machine from going down or get it back up quickly if it goes down.
Add Guidewheel AI-powered Scout to detect anomalies in machine performance that indicate a machine might need maintenance. Scout evaluates multiple variables to detect even small anomalies, helping you identify issues before they impact production.
Track maintenance issues to improve planned maintenance schedule
Navigate to Issues>Analysis.
Identify downtime reasons in the Pareto chart related to maintenance/mechanical.
Click into each of these bars to open up detail about specific issues and the times/machines where they occurred.
Click into issues on the list to view details. Identify patterns of problem machines or recurring issues.
Review activity for each issue to see what kind of fix was performed.
Determine if additional maintenance should be performed to prevent these issues in the future and/or planned maintenance should be moved up to keep machines running at optimal performance levels.
Stay on top of runtime-based maintenance
Navigate to Settings>Configurations>Devices.
Set maintenance targets by clicking the “Edit” icon for each device. When the window pops up, click the “Targets” tab and enter the maintenance target runtime hours into the “Maintenance” box.
Navigate to Maintenance page. Review weekly and schedule runtime-based maintenance as needed.
