Step 1. Assemble the Hub

Mount the meter on the rails inside of the enclosure.

Step 2. Locate a spot to mount the Hub

We recommend mounting the Hub close to a group of your machines to optimize the sensor connections.

Step 3. Clip the CT on the first phase of the machine’s power

Locate the power source of the machine. This is the spot where you will clip the CT sensor on Phase 1. You will know the sensor is fully clipped on when you hear two clicks. If you need to extend the length of the sensors, you can do so using Cat6 cable.

Step 4: Plug the CT sensor cable into the egauge meter

Next, connect each CT plug (2 pin) into any available port on the eGauge meter. Repeat for each sensor.

Step 5: Plug in the egauge meter

Connect the power cord provided with the eGauge meter to a 110V outlet. Then insert the green connector side of that power cord into the meter input labeled "Power Vdc” as shown.

Step 6: Connect the egauge meter to the internet

To connect the eGauge to the Internet using ethernet, simply connect the ethernet cable directly to the ethernet port on one side of the eGauge meter. If you’d like to connect using WiFi instead, Guidewheel can provide a TP-Link, which is an antenna for WIFI connection.

Step 7: Repeat steps 3 and 4 for any additional machines

Once the installation is complete, fill out the machine information file and share it with the Guidewheel team to complete the system configuration.
