Overview
If Guidewheel isn’t loading or pages seem stuck, you can usually resolve the issue by refreshing your browser environment. This article walks through quick fixes, including a hard refresh, clearing cache, logging out and back in, and checking your browser version.
Step-by-Step Instructions

A hard refresh forces your browser to reload the latest version of Guidewheel.
NOTE: A Hard Refresh is different than simply clicking the refresh button on your browser.
On Windows (PC):
Open Guidewheel in your browser.
Press Ctrl + Shift + R or Ctrl + F5.
On Mac:
Open Guidewheel in your browser.
Press Command + Shift + R.
2. Clear Your Browser Cache

Chrome (PC & Mac):
Open Settings.
Select Privacy and Security.
Click Clear browsing data.
Check Cached images and files.
Click Clear data.
Safari (Mac):
Open Safari.
Select Safari > Settings.
Open the Advanced tab and enable Show Develop menu.
In the menu bar, click Develop > Empty Caches.
3. Log Out and Log Back In
Hover over your Profile Name in the bottom left of Guidewheel.
Select Log out.
Sign back in using your Guidewheel credentials.
4. Make Sure Your Browser Is Up to Date
Chrome (PC & Mac):
Open Settings.
Select About Chrome.
Chrome will automatically check for updates.
Click Relaunch if prompted.
Safari (Mac):
Open the Apple menu.
Select System Settings.
Open General > Software Update.
Install any available updates.
Tips & Best Practices
Chrome generally provides the most consistent performance with Guidewheel.
If Guidewheel loads in an incognito/private window, cached data is likely the issue—clear your main browser cache.
Extensions such as ad blockers or script blockers can interfere; try disabling them temporarily.
